A Qualified Charitable Distribution is a donation you make directly from your IRA to a qualified non-profit organization like FTHRA. If you’re age 70½ or older, you can give up to $100,000 per year through a QCD. These gifts can count toward your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) and are not taxed as income.
