Donations to FTHRA & Our Programs

Are Always Welcomed & Sincerely Appreciated!

FTHRA is a nonprofit organization providing much needed services to people in need in Northeast Tennessee. These services may include rural transportation, Meals on Wheels, adult day care, shelter for domestic violence victims, senior employment & volunteer services, in-home personal care and community corrections. Please take a moment to click on Programs (listed on left) to learn more about how we help people in your community.

Did you know you can help FTHRA's program by just shopping?

When you make a purchase on Amazon Smile:

  • Amazon donates 0.5% of the price of your eligible AmazonSmile purchases to First Tennessee Human Resource Agency.
  • AmazonSmile is the same Amazon you know. Same products, same prices, same Amazon Prime benefits.

First TN Human Resource Agency relies on volunteers for many of our programs.

If you are interested in learning more about our volunteer opportunities, please contact Stephanie Walker by email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

If you are interested in donating to one of our programs and do not want to use PayPal, please send a check or money order to:

First TN Human Resource Agency

704 Rolling Hills Drive

Johnson City, TN 37604

All donations are tax deductible. First TN Human Resource Agency receives funding from federal and state grants, United Ways and local city/town/county funding.

To keep our services at a low or no cost to our clients, we hold fundraisers and accept private donations.

Help our domestic violence shelter help families in crisis

Safe Passage Domestic Violence Shelter is holding a used cell phone drive. If you have a used cell phone that you would like to donated, please bring it to 704 Rolling Hills Drive in Johnson City.  If you know of a location/business that we can place a drop box, please call 423.461.7849.

Newer cell phones still have 911 capabilities even if they are not activated.  Older and/or broken cell phones can be recycled and the money is placed in our Client Assistance Fund.
